FASEP is proud to announce an important technological innovation that will be presented for the first time at Automechanika Frankfurt 2024: the integration of the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) reading system on the video wheel balancers.

This implementation will see FASEP wheel balancers equipped with an advanced RFID system, consisting of two dedicated antennas, capable of reading an RFID tag embedded in the compound of new-generation tires. This innovative technology, for which a patent has been filed, enables the automatic and precise collection of all data pertaining to the scanned tire.

In collaboration with the GDSO consortium, the RFID system integrated in FASEP wheel balancers provides access to specific tire data, including the unique serial number identification. This functionality provides complete traceability of tires, offering operators accurate control and optimized management throughout the product life cycle.

The incorporation of the RFID system marks a significant advancement for FASEP in offering cutting-edge solutions within the automotive industry, enhancing operational efficiency and customer service quality.
