The new G6.SMART technology introduces the following innovations:

electronic motor control (inverter)
use of powerful and silent three-phase motor
50-60Hz transparent operation (with the electronically controlled motor the shaft always turns at the same speed)

G5.Smart

The new G3.EXTREME technology introduces the following innovations:

very fast cycle time (start, braking and automatic wheel positioning in 5.5 sec.)
APS2 automatic positioning system faster and more precise, controlled by the keyboard or the brake pedal
Electromagnetic brake included as standard (not for V58x)
50-60Hz transparent operation (with the electronically controlled motor the shaft always turns at the same speed).
